Well tis the season! Here is our first tree in our new place. Thanks to great friends and family we got a "tree" and dont have to use the cactus and we can actually light it up. Now if the cats would leave the ornaments at the bottom alone and stop twisting up the skirt! But what fun would that be they love Christmas too!
Here it is...... my new space for creating. Its a bit smaller but I will have to be better organized to keep the creativity flowing. Check back for the all sparkling new room ready for crafting.
Hello all ! Just wanted to let you all know that I have had to take a little time out. Karli and I have been busy painting and painting and cleaning. Check back for updated pics of our new adventure.
......New duct tape bags the I tought Kayla and Amy to make. I think the girls had a fun time learning to make them and I sure had fun teaching them. I love to see what other people invision when they pick out their tape and put it together. I just love both of these!
These are the beautiful flowers my friend Renee (and Karli) got me for my birthday. I love the twine handle on the basket and the unique flowers. Thank you to everyone that wished me a happy day.
Here it is day 5! Spellbinders nesting trees set of 3. I have always wanted to try making one of these ornaments so I decided to try it with the trees. This is made with 3 of the trees cut of each size. Glue the edges together and add a string and a few spots of stickles.
Today it is the My Minds Eye die cuts. This is a pictue my daughter Karli and her Great Grandma Ione. Other products used on the page are Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Coluzzle. Be sure to check out all the other great ideas from the other FAB5 girls.
Todays challenge was with rub ons from October Afternoon. Flowers, birds and the word adore are all rub ons. These are easy to use and you can layer them or put them on thick plastic and raise up for a more 3D image. Other products used were Spellbinders, and Cuttlebug. Enjoy all the other awesome ideas done up with these rub ons.
We're back! Welcome back to this months FAB5 challenge. Todays item of choice was the pink GCD paper. I used the T.H. emboss folder and spun sugar distress ink to give the paper more depth. The birdcage is cut from a pop can , yes I said a pop can. Diet Coke can to be exact, and roughed it up a little with my T.H. distress tool. Leaves are from T.H. Regal crest die, flowers from Prima.
Here it is day 4 already! Item for todays challenge was the paper, and now is a tag to be used on a card or scrapbook page. Stamps used are from Stampers Anonymous and Hampton Arts these are some of my favorite stamps. This is also embossed with Cuttlebug music notes emboss folder then inked to enhance the image. Just because the House Mouse stamps are so cute! Todays challenge paper is the dot and grid paper. Stamps by Stampabilities and Judith, colored with Copic markers. Punches include Maurvy corner rounder and Martha Stewarts balloon punch. Enjoy all the great ideas with todays product, get creative!

This is my daughter Dusti at the Miss Eleva Queen Banquet ( and her little sister Karli). Dusti is wearing the Green dress that her grandmother made especially for her to wear for the occasion. Dusti was crowned Alternate and Miss Congeniality which pleased her just as well.

Its day 5 of the FAB5! Feature of the week was My Minds Eye paper which I "grunged up" using my Copic airbrush system. Other supplies include Spellbinders and Hero Arts. Hope you enjoyed another week of the FAB5 design team. Watch for us next month!
Todays My Minds Eye paper is Tres Jolie "birthday girl". I love this double sided paper. This time I decieded to use my Marvy Mega punches to layer up these scalloped ovals. Stamp by Great Impressions and background embossed with Cuttlebug paisly emboss folder.
Here is my first attempt at a tag. I started with the Tattered Angels glimmer screens and airbrushed with my Copics. Distressed around the edges with Tim Holtz weathered wood distressed ink, stamped the Inkadinkadoo humming bird with black soot distress ink. To finish it off I spritzed it with Glacier Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels.
Finally here it is! Not sure how it happens but I had this postdated and it did not post! The distressed side of our challenge paper was my inspiration for this " barn" card. Supplies include Worldwin cardstock , Sizzix die for the fence , Muarvy punch for the flowers and our Pazzles machine at Picture This for the horse shoe.

Here it is FAB 5 day 2! This is my daughter Dusti fifteen years ago! Oh how time flys! Todays challenge paper is the pink and yellow swirls. Other supplies include paper from Worldwin and Making Memories. Grungeboard wings,and Tim Holtz filmstrip ribbon. If you look closely you can see tiny pictures of Dusti in the filmstrip.

This is one of a couple of Valentines Day cards that I made for a friend at work. I just love this stamp. Supplies include Worldwin card stock , stamp from Stampabilities , colored with Copic markers.
Todays challenge was with the Black Magic Coordinations paper. This is a card that can be used for Valentines, or a kids party. I cut the Corrdinations and a small piece of red and a small piece of brown with my Spellbinders scalloped heart die, sanding the large heart to have the brown show through a bit. His collar is Worldwin paper with some silver leaf pen on the edge to define it. Topping it off with some clear gemstones and some google eyes! Be sure to check the other blogs for more great ideas!
Day 4 of the FAB 5 challenge this time with Basic Grey paper. This paper was much easier to work with and it just happend that I had just the right photos to use with it. This is my youngest Karli and all her freckles. Tools used on this project include Spellbinders, Ribbons Tag Trio, Classic Frame and Rose ( I believe this one is retired), and Martha Stewart border punch. On the roses , tag and frame I also used the Copic airbrush system to add dimention and color, this is done before removing the paper from the die. Be sure to check back tomorrow for our next challenge!
Sorry about the delay for todays design challenge. I was working on it last night when my computer crashed! But it is all up and running now so there will be no more delays!

This is my craft room before purchasing 17 Simply Built storage cubes. As you can see I had been using the wire dorm cubes, and they work great except that you can see everything. I decided there had to be a change. Soooooo heres the new look!.......................
I really like the look of the cubes but it seems I may need more to store the rest that sits in my cropper hopper and crate. But for now its a good start.
